Last Year's NSAM Campaign Materials:

January - National Stalking Awareness Month (NSAM) - Keeping tabs is stalking. Know what's better than stalking? Talking.

This year, the Coalition chose to highlight primary prevention and technology safety. The current cultural shift of using social media tools on a daily basis has allowed for stalking to seem acceptable. “Keeping tabs” on others has normalized stalking behavior. This year’s NSAM we hope to encourage healthy communication and bring about awareness that stalking can have many different forms, especially with technology.

Code #22 - What is the Oregon Charitable Checkoff?

Through Oregon's Charitable Checkoff campaign, individual taxpayers have an opportunity to donate a portion of their state income tax refund to the OCADSV's member programs that provide direct services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Please take the time while filing your personal state income tax and inform your constituents to include the code #22 for Domestic and Sexual Violence on the Charitable Checkoff portion of your tax form. If tax professionals prepare your Oregon tax forms, inform them that you would like a portion of your refund to go to domestic and sexual violence services.

How do I donate?

What is the Oregon Tax Charitable Checkoff? In order to donate a portion of your refund to the domestic and sexual violence services, simply locate the "other charity" option of your tax form (Long form, line 69 and Short form, line 39). Then enter code # 22 for OCADSV.

That's it! You're done. The Oregon Department of Revenue takes care of the rest.
If you have any questions about the Charitable Checkoff campaign, you can call the Oregon Department of Revenue at 503-378-4988 or contact Debbie Fox at OCADSV at 503-230-1951 x 4 or via email at debbie (at) ocadsv (dot) org.

New Website Announcement!

We are pleased to announce the release of our newly redesigned website for the Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (OCADSV).  By updating our main site, www.ocadsv.org (address will remain the same), we were able to improve navigation to connect survivors to domestic and sexual violence programs in their area. We have also made signing up for our e-newsletter or requesting a training easier by providing contact forms in these sections. Another highlight of our new site is that we will be constantly updating our content with helpful information and resources for programs and community partners, so keep checking back in!

We would like to give a HUGE thank you to the amazing and wonderful staff at TrestleMedia who donated their time and energy to make this site what it is, Thank You!!
